No football colours

Football stadiums are invariably decked out in the colours of the teams that own them. Photographing them in back and white therefore potentially disconnects the images from any obvious association with a specific football team (including, I reckon, those that play in black and white). That said, I do wonder if this loss of association is less apparent for those of us who grew up watching football on monochrome TVs? If you're old enough, you can decide for yourself...
