This imposing structure at Cammo on the west edge of Edinburgh is not - as might be assumed - a folly, but an early 18th century water tower built to supply the main house on the Cammo estate. These days it hosts a few crows and is a striking navigation point for walkers, runners, off-road cyclists, and even the odd pilot traversing west Edinburgh.....
