Despite the best efforts of Covid, travelling to a place of work is still with us, and commuting - like it or hate it - takes up a significant part of working peoples' waking hours. The UK rail networks move millions of passengers daily, and the suburbs echo the rhythm of a thousand identikit trains that roll along their ferrous pathways throughout the day, and well into the late night. In the context of which, being on a non-stop service into the centre of London can be a joyous thing...
