Suspended

At first sight, an autumn leaf is caught (by a brilliantly alert photographer, obviously) in mid-descent just before it comes to rest on some random suburban garden decking. But alas, this leaf was destined never to hit the floor; keen observers may be able to discern the thin wisps of a spider's web that held it suspended above the planks while yours truly took his time to get a halfway decent, back-lit, image. File under 'still life'...
