Pun intended

Looking at familiar sights 'a different way' is something artists are supposed to be good at. The stems pictured here sprout abundantly in the area surrounding our house and, indeed, in our own back yard (which doesn't enjoy the tlc it probably merits).

An experiment with a small monolite flash and a handy dark backdrop resulted in this image which I was going to call "Seed heads no.1" or something similarly on trend with the galleristi (I just made that term up).

But bad punnery is in my genes, so I couldn't resist it. Ladies, gentlemen and non-binaries, with apologies to Peter Paul Rubens, I give you : The Three Grasses.
