Inchmickery, with distractions

From the shoreline at Edinburgh's Silverknowes it is possible to see a number of the islands that pepper the Firth of Forth, including the uninhabited island of Inchmickery, which housed a gun battery during World War II but which today houses only birds on the RSPB reserve there. In this photo, taken on a misty morning donder, runners and bird watchers alike seem distracted by something happening stage left.
